Job Title: Finance Controller

Our client an international manufacturing company is looking for a talented Finance Controller who will have a small staff and report directly to the CFO in US and indirectly to the General Manager of the Dubai Operations. They will be responsible for all areas of financial reporting for the Dubai operations.

Provide work direction and coordination to a staff of 1 or 2 employees providing general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and payroll services for Dubai Operations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance reports, statements and statistics.

Prepare financial budgets, accruals, forecasts and variance reports for Oil & Gas Company – Dubai Operations.

Maintain appropriate internal controls, reporting systems and policies to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of information to head office.

Work with the GM and the operations group in developing processes that ensure proper costing of the products for both accounting and bidding purposes.

Prepare and present financial operating statement and reports to Senior Management.

The candidate will be an experienced Accountant with an appropriate undergraduate degree and a recognized accounting designation.

A minimum of 6 years of varied accounting experience, preferably for a mid-sized oil related company or similar business.

A knowledge of US GAAP and SOX.

Extensive hands on experience managing the (A/P, A/R, Credit, Banking, Payroll, Insurance, Tax).
