Accounting Job Title: Senior Financial Analsyt

Working within a young and dynamic investment team, you will play a key role in the conduct of due diligence on direct and indirect investments, the modeling of projected returns from investment opportunities in real estate as well as private equity, supporting the transaction principals in managing the acquisition process, liaising with internal and external clients and ultimately providing investment recommendations in the form of reports to higher management.

Main Accountabilities

1.Conduct Due Diligence on Private Equity Placements (Funds and Co-investment Opportunities) and formulate investment recommendations.

2.Evaluate Real Estate development projects feasibilities by building Financial Models and analyzing the projected profitability of each project.

3.Participate in the due diligence process for prospective investments and present recommendations to the Investment Committee (PowerPoint).

4.Participate in the execution of investment and divestment processes.

5.Conduct Valuation Analysis of public and privately held Companies.

6.Supervise the design, documentation and implementation of various integrated financial systems whilst utilizing the financial information on hand to cater to the decision making process.

7.Collect, analyze and compare financial and statistical information as required to support higher management in the due diligence process and for preparation of forecasts.

8.Develop business contacts; generate deal flow and investment ideas in the targeted sectors considering all relevant macro and industry trends in accordance with the Department’s investment mandate.

9.Study and analyze the financial indices of international companies, discuss financial deviations and causes thereof.

10.Ensure provision of information as required by the Division Head.

11.Support the team in assessing specific opportunities and industry trends.

12.Prepare periodic reports on work progress and submit the same to Division Head.

13.Carry out any other tasks as assigned to him/her by Senior Management.

Education and Experience Profile
1.Undergraduate degree in Finance or a related field from a reputable institution.

2.Practical experience of not less than 4-5 years in an investment related role.

3.Any form of postgraduate study / candidacy in the CFA program would be a plus

4.Familiarity of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Proficient in English; Arabic would be an advantage but is not necessary
