Job Title: Vice president Finance
Job Details: Key Responsibilities -
1. Provide Financial Leadership to Group (presently
13 operating units in UAE), facilitate development and
execution of Business/ Investment strategies and lead the
business planning process across all business units to
ensure objectives and targets are met and shareholder
value enhanced.
2. Propose and execute leveraging needs and negotiate
all Foods Group borrowings at minimum cost so as to ensure
an optimal debt: equity ratio, the availability of funds
at all times and optimal investment of surplus/ available
funds. Implement efficient cash management systems.
3. Provide strategic and financial guidance to
foreign subsidiaries (currently 5 units) ensure
achievement of objectives and targets set out from time to
time and through Business Plans, ensure compliance and
integration with Group.
4. Participate in the decision making process on
operational, strategic and investment matters as a member
of the Leadership Team to develop and monitor progress to
ensure achievement of Business plans and implementation
and execution of strategies
5. Lead and implement state of the art ERP modules
and technical support for providing management with
timely, accurate and complete MIS reporting to monitor
progress of the business.
6. Ensure International Best Practices in ethical
standards and financial governance, reporting and
procedures so as to enhance credibility of information
generated and protect Group s assets and shareholder s
interests.
7. Institute Group level consolidation of financial
results and ensure monthly reporting to the CEO/ Group
CFO/ Chairman and quarterly reporting to the Board on
achievements against Business Plans and recommend required
actions to enable continuous improvement and meeting of
targets by operating units and Group as a whole.
8. Safeguard company assets through enforcing
effective internal control procedures, implementing
prudent balance sheet management and ensuring compliance
to all legal, tax, insurance and corporate governance
regulations to protect the company from any potential
liability.
9. Ensure recruitment, training and retention of high
calibre finance professional, in coordination with HR,
create a motivating & rewarding work environment and
performance culture.
10. Provide financial services to the front-line
through analysis of sales volumes and marketing spend,
supporting strategies and market/customer initiatives to
assess the value addition in achievement of business
results.
Knowledge Skills and Experience and Job Related
Competencies
Professional Finance qualification (Chartered
Accountant) preferably from UK, CPA from USA) with atleast
10 years post qualified experience.
Atleast 7-8 years industry experience in a large
manufacturing setup with overseas operations at a CFO/
Regional Finance Manager level looking after turnover of
atleast US$ 100 million
Lead, develop, motivate and influence others
including senior level and front-line
Strategy development and implementation
Blend of control/planning and business acumen
Information systems familiarity/knowledge

1. JOB PURPOSE
At this level, employees should be able to plan and

2. KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES
Conducts/participates in meetings with
auditees.
Plans survey elements and carries out

Personally evaluates the complex and/or
major aspects of the flow and internal controls of the
process under audit.
Reviews the performance of the Internal
Audit team executing the fieldwork
Designs audit programs and determines the
selection of the audit samples for the area under review,
then discusses with higher levels of supervision to
ascertain compliance, and complete the coverage of the
various aspects of the engagement.
Conducts examination and analysis of data
and information in engagements and reviews analysis and
examination carried out by the Internal Audit team to
determine compliance of the activity under audit with the
established procedures, policies, standards and legal
requirements.
Participates in meetings with auditees to
discuss audit findings. May refer to higher levels of
supervision, if needed, for advice and support.
Prepares audit memoranda for major audit
engagements and reviews the work prepared by members of
the team, and obtains approval of the higher levels of
supervision.
Collects the responses of the auditee
Prepares draft reports, reviews reports
complete or partial - developed by the team to ensure that
standards and professionalism have been maintained
Ensures that the audit engagement was
completed as designed and that auditee concerns were
answered
Reviews the report prepared by the team,
consolidates it, obtains approval of the higher level of
supervision and submits it to the auditee for review
Reviews auditee response, holds
discussions and, if necessary, updates the final report,
in consultation with his direct supervisor and reissues
the report as required
Conducts follow up audits and ensures that
recommended action is implemented
May participate in special audits,
investigation of fraud, abuse, etc. as requested
Coaches, mentors and provides training to
employees in lower levels to ensure they have the required
capabilities to carry out assigned work
3. CRITICAL COMPETENCIES (6 maximum)
Sufficient Business writing skills and in particular in
the preparation of audit reports in the narrative and
graphic forms.
Sufficient understanding of RTA s organisational
structure, policies and procedures and the various
operational activities that exist.
Good Knowledge of and ability to use a range of business
software appropriate for the function.
4. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree in accounting/finance,
Professional qualification in Internal Audit (CIA) or
equivalent.
4 to 6 years of Internal / External audit experience
Excellent communication skills, report writing, group
facilitation, presentation, and public speaking.
Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic required.
Analytical thinking, and advance computer skills.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
Partners with customers and internal clients to

Under regular supervision, performs vigorous

established credit policies and procedures through
extensive telephone, written, and personal communications.
Reconciles delinquency, informing appropriate
credit and division management and staff of credit status
and high-risk accounts.
Uses appropriate security methods to reduce credit
risks, such as Letters of Credit, Personal or
Cross-Corporate Guarantees.
Evaluates credit worthiness of current and new
customers, including completion of Account Risk
Assessments (ARA) as required. Develops analytical skills
to interpret all information prior to extending,
increasing or denying credit availability. Analysis can
include investigating credit applications, reviewing,
analyzing and interpreting financial statements and trade
credit reports.
Ensures passing the monthly accounting entries
assigned to him for the monthly accounting closing as well
as analyze the assigned accounts and passing the
rectification entries.
Develops influencing and administrative skills in
order to initiate communication and address credit policy
questions and inquiries from internal clients and external
customers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration
(Major in Finance or Accounting) or equivalent training
through experience is normally required to apply knowledge
of Credit and Collection principles, theory and
applications.
3-5 years related job experience in the Middle
East.
Good Interpersonal, communication, analytical,
organizational skills required.
Good negotiating and influencing skills required.
Maintains a professional, positive and tactful
