Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the complete accounting functions
including Costing & Management Accounting.
Scrutiny of all financial transactions and
advising the management on all related aspects.
Monitoring the outstanding of the clients and
advising the management on delays and suggestions of
remedial action.
Advising the management of the cash inflow
situation regularly.
Monitoring the adherence to the credit norms fixed
to the agencies.
Timely advice to the management after identifying
any potential recovery problems and recommending the
course of action to avoid a bad debt situation.
Advising the management on all financial matters
of the company.
Recommending to the management any new systems as
per the needs of the organization and for its
implementation after management s approval.
To provide the management with necessary reports
on weekly / monthly / quarterly basis.
To ensure adherence to the company policies /
systems in place at all times.
Over all Management of all the inventory and
storing functions.
Responsible for payment to the creditors and all
other parties.
Responsible for timely report of accidents etc. to
the Insurance companies.
Responsible for submission of monthly financial
reports to the management.
Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Ideally a qualified chartered accountant or
equivalent with 6-8years of experience in a large company
preferably an Retail sector

Strong understanding of Inventory Control,
Accounts Receivable & Payables, Commercial, Production
Planning, Costing, Management Accounting, Warehousing and
Logistics.

Experience in dealing with Internal Auditors,
External Auditors, Lawyers, Banks, Insurance Companies and
other external agencies.

Strong Man- Management skills and able to head a
team in the Finance, Accounts, Commercial, Stores and
Credit Control.

Knowledge of IAS & IFRS.

PC skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).

Experience in working under Oracle Environment.
